It’s really funny how things work out sometimes. Back in February, I got an email from an old college friend saying her best friend was getting married, and needed a photographer. She was getting married at CJ’s Off the Square, a beautiful little venue in Franklin, TN. What’s so funny about that? Well in February, living in Nashville wasn’t even on our radar. But here we are, and we were so incredibly excited to be working with the fabulous team at CJ’s!
Even more exciting? Working with the lovely bride and groom, Kristi and Eric. Kristi and Eric are both musicians in the United States Army band, and were actually married while they were stationed overseas. They decided to have a beautiful, intimate ceremony and reception for their friends and family back home, and it was absolutely perfect! Their wedding was one of the most laid back, fun, intimate, and sweet weddings we have ever had the joy of being a part of. It was a chilly but beautiful Sunday morning celebration; their intimate and emotional garden ceremony was followed by a reception featuring coffee (by Kickin Coffee and Teas!), mimosas, and of course, cake!
Kristi and Eric are so in love, and have such a passionate connection. You can tell they truly have found their soul mate in each other. The way Eric looked at his bride all day was just absolutely heart melting. And we can’t forget the third member of their family who was also present, the adorable pomeranian Sergeant Major! (Who, I’ve heard, is now having to share his love with a cat in the family as well!)
So without further ado…some favorite images!
That gorgeous smile didn’t leave Kristi’s face all day!
Love this shot Chris grabbed of Kristi and her dad before the ceremony!
Same with this one. I love the movement and anticipation in this image.
That shot on the left? Probably one of my all time favorites haha. So adorable!
LOVE the look on Eric’s face! 🙂
The beautiful pavilion at CJ’s!
Such an amazing day! (Whew…that was extremely hard to narrow down which images to share!)
Congratulations, Kristi and Eric! Thank you so much for allowing us to share in your day!
And many thanks to the fabulous team at CJ’s Off the Square, who helped things go incredibly smoothly, Kickin’ Coffee and Teas for the fabulous coffee (it was definitely great on such a chilly morning!), and to Nashville Wedding Cars for the classy get away car!
And, thanks to you my dear readers, for taking the time to visit! I’m always thankful for everyone who supports us, but especially at this time of year, I am overwhelmed with gratitude. I get to work with the greatest people ever!
I hope everyone has a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
Lots of love,
